Mental Health and Habits

There are resources that can help you feel less alone.

It is normal to experience changes to your mental health during and after pregnancy.

People who experience a HDP have a higher risk of developing anxiety and/or depressive symptoms during and after pregnancy.

If you notice any changes to your mental health, it is important to share this with your primary care provider.

If you begin to experience distressing thoughts about you or your child, thoughts of suicide or thoughts of harming someone else, it is important to seek out emergency support.
